Bolaji Alakija

Bolaji is a London born actor who recently graduated in 2018 from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (RCSSD) on their 3 year BA Acting course.

During his time at RCSSD, the Nigerian actor appeared in 'Her Naked Skin', 'The Sound And The Fury' and most recently, 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle' at the Embassy Theatre. 

In The production of 'The Sound and The Fury' at the Pleasance Theatre, Bolaji's stand out performance as 'Roskus' and 'TP', (along with Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo playing Matriarchal housekeeper 'Dilsey'), Theatre Box critic wrote "Both performers gave mature and resonant performances. They brought the play’s most powerful, human moments – a simple tut, the bandaging of a husband’s hand, all creating the feeling that Faulkner wrote into the novel; that “they endured.”  

Bolaji's screen credits include the feature film, 'Hip Hop Opera' which supported the Government's anti-gun campaign 'Don't Trigger'. He also played the role of  'Vincent' in the TV Series 'Meet The Adebanjo's' and in 'The Kilburn Passion' at the Tricycle Theatre.
