Chris Jarman has been cast as the new Doctor Dillamond in the West End's production of Wicked, beginning July 2018.

Previously, he starred in the theatrical event of the decade, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ('just wait until they see the play’s magnificent Hagrid, a cameo played in a roaring basso profundo by Chris Jarman' - Jan Moir, Daily Mail), wowing audiences with his portrayal of The Sorting Hat and the aforementioned role of Hagrid in this award winning play at The Palace Theatre, West End.

Until the beginning of 2016, Chris had been giving his show stopping performance as General Butt 'Effing' Naked in the multi award winning international hit The Book of Mormon in London's West End.

Chris’s current screen credit is in the popular revival of Thunderbirds Are Go on ITV eclipsing 'The Hood' as a mysterious new villain 'The Mechanic'. His voice can also be heard as the narrator on Channel 4's cult hit Tattoo Fixers.

After completing his 3 year course in classical acting at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) Chris went straight into the original London Cast of The Lion King.

His career teems with highly acclaimed productions with leading performances that have seen him working alongside Patrick Stewart, Sheila Hancock, Whoopi Goldberg, Fiona Shaw, Lenny Henry, Alan Bates, Ralph Fiennes, Rowan Atkinson and directors such as Casey Nicholaw, Rupert Goold, Greg Doran, Sir Trevor Nunn, David Yates, Deborah Warner, Dominic Cooke and John Tiffney.
