HBO Max Snaps Up 'Ghosts'

‘Ghosts’ co-created by and starring client Martha Howe-Douglas, will be available to US viewers under a new licensing deal.

The smash hit BBC1 comedy which was broadcast in April this year, will be part of the new streaming platform HBO Max when it launches in the spring 2020.

The Warner-owned service has also picked up Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s The Office, previously available on rival Netflix, as well as Top Gear and ten seasons of Doctor Who.

It was previously announced that Netflix would be losing Friends to HBO Max in the US – but not elsewhere. The platform will also offer HBO hits such as Game Of Thrones and The Sopranos.
