- Finalist BBC New Comedy Award 2018
- First Runner Up - So You Think You're Funny Final 2017
Sarah is relatively new to the stand-up scene, having made the natural transition from professional trombonist to comedian.
By her 10th gig Sarah was a Funny Women Regional Finalist and went on to claim the Runner Up prize in 'So You Think You're Funny' at the Edinburgh Fringe, making her officially Britain's second funniest new comedian in 2017.
Sarah has gigged for Comic Boom at Brighton Komedia, Funny Women: Brighton Komedia, and HS Hispaniola. She is a regular act at 'It's Debatable' in Oxford, where comics debate topics chosen at random and then the audience decides who wins. She has also performed at Oxford's Hall of Shame and Jericho Comedy.
2018 will see Sarah head to the Edinburgh Fringe to develop her very own unique brand of comedy, whilst continuing to raise her profile through national comedy competitions.

'Sarah Mann set out her stall instantly, too, quickly telling the room she considered herself asexual – immediately making her us want to hear more. And how very 2017! Add to that her lack of aesthetic compass which means she cannot tell what looks good, and there’s a unique angle. Although half of her set didn’t depend on these traits at all, and instead focussed on the web of lies she spun just to avoid admitting to a campsite manager that she was glamping alone – the deceit, as in all the best sitcoms, getting ever more intricate to hide a trivial initial sin. Nice work that earned her the silver on the night.'
