Sarah Cameron-West

Sarah Cameron-West is an actor, writer and producer whose critically acclaimed hit comedy show KAREN celebrates a 100% sell out success rate including her Underbelly Edinburgh Fringe Seasons (2023 & 2024), The Other Palace runs (2024 & 2025), The Old Joint Stock Birmingham (2024), Seven Dials Playhouse (2024), Chichester Festival Theatre’s The Nest (2025) and The Underbelly Boulevard Soho (2025).
Described as “Fleabag meets Peep Show” (Operation Live Theatre), Cameron-West has been hailed as “hugely relatable and extremely funny” (The Stage) and “a burgeoning comedy genius” (EdFringe Review). KAREN has been praised as “script-worthy of a TV adaptation,” with Cameron-West identified as “the next TV comic in the making” (Creative Reviews).
A Vice-Chancellor’s Scholar for the Arts at Durham University, she later trained at Drama Centre London, graduating with Distinction. She was shortlisted as a writer for Saturday Night Live UK and is currently developing KAREN for television under the mentorship of esteemed comedy writer and actor Martha Howe-Douglas (BBC Ghosts, Sky’s Yonderland, BBC Horrible Histories).
Her screen credits include roles in Amazon Prime’s Anansi Boys, Robert Zemeckis’s Allied, and David Yates’ Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. She received a Best Actor nomination at the Hewitt-Bryce Film Festival for her lead performance in BAFTA-winning director Josie Copeland’s short film Walk Home, and is currently developing further television projects alongside her work across stage and screen.
