Chris McCausland won the nations hearts in 2024 winning the BBC show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Such was Chris’s popularity his stand up tour ‘YONKS’ went on for a further two years selling over 350 thousand tickets nationwide with him making his debut performing the show at The London Palladium at the end of the tour in May 2026.

Chris’s debut autobiography, Keep Laughing, was published by Michael Joseph, Penguin Random House, at the end of 2025 with the paperback version to be set to released in January 2027.

His previous stand-up tour, Speak Blinder, was a 140+ date sell-out, culminating in a final performance at the legendary Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which was filmed for broadcast on Channel 4. The stand-up special is also available on Netflix under the title Chris McCausland: Live.

A firm favourite on flagship comedy shows, Chris has appeared on, The Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall and has made numerous appearances on: Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, QI, The Last Leg, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Blankety Blank, Scared of the Dark, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Graham Norton Show, along with celebrity editions of The Chase, Pointless and Celebrity Mastermind, the latter of which he won with his chosen specialist subject, Pearl Jam. He has also made 4 appearances on Live at the Apollo, including hosting the very last ever Christmas episode which will broadcast in 2026.

Chris has fronted his own Channel 4 travel series, Wonders of the World I Can’t See, and Chris McCausland: Seeing Into the Future for BBC.

On radio Chris is a familiar voice on R4 News Quiz as well as his own panel show You Heard It Here First, which has enjoyed 3 consecutive series.

In 2026, Chris added another string to his bow by joining Absolute Radio with The Chris McCausland Show, airing every Sunday from 8–11am. Joined by fellow stand-up comedian and musical comic Jon Long, the weekly show sees Chris share his unique take on the week, celebrate the music he loves, and entertain listeners with the brilliantly offbeat observations, warmth and quick-fire storytelling that have made him one of the UK’s best-loved comedy voices.

Chris is blind, having lost his sight gradually due to the genetic condition Retinitis Pigmentosa. He lives in southwest London with his wife and young daughter.
