Chris McCausland is to present a new ITV Saturday daytime show.

The new series will include celebrity guests, musical performances, entertainment news as well as some other surprises for viewers.

Chris said on his new presenting role: ‘I am delighted to announce that I will be taking over the ITV Saturday morning breakfast slot for 11 weeks over the summer.

‘I am really excited about this, although I can’t do autocue and I don’t know where the cameras are. What can possibly go wrong?’

The  Chris McCausland Show is being made by Cactus TV,  which produces Saturday Kitchen Live for the BBC and has previously behind ITV breakfast shows featuring the likes of Big Zuu, Katie Piper and Laura Whitmore.
