We are very pleased and proud to announce, Alasdair Beckett-King has Won, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2017!

The Final, which took place on Saturday 25th Feb at The Y Theatre in Leicester, saw Alasdair storm through his set and offered the audience and judges, a glimpse into what is yet to come from him when he Debuts at The Fringe this August.

“He ends with his own version of William Blake’s Proverbs of Hell displaying a playful silliness at the same time adding to the feeling of him belonging to another time. He’ll go far.”
